Lupus Awareness Month 2020
The motion
That the Parliament notes that October is Lupus Awareness Month; understands that lupus is a complicated condition that is still very poorly understood by the public and many within the medical profession; calls for better and earlier diagnosis for people with lupus; supports Lupus Awareness Month, particularly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, as many people shielding will be living with lupus, and supports the organisations and charities supporting and providing advocacy to people living with the condition, in the hope that a cure can be found.
