Firefighters Complete the Lake District 24 Peaks In 24 Hours Challenge
The motion
That the Parliament commends the fundraising efforts of the firefighters, Ross Maxwell, Chris Bates, Martin McCaig and David Young; understands that they covered over 40 miles walking, climbing and descending the Lake District 24 peaks in 24 hours challenge to raise money for a holiday for the family of their friend and former colleague, Andi Galloway, whose three-year-old son, Archie, has been diagnosed with leukaemia, and believes that this was an excellent fundraising initiative.
