Paul Lynas Memorial Group Wins BHF Heart Hero Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Paul Lynas Memorial Group on being honoured with a prestigious national charity award, the Fundraising in the Community accolade, at the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Heart Hero Awards in recognition of its efforts that have raised £43,000 in two-and-a-half years; acknowledges that it was set up as a tribute to Paul Lynas from Livingston, who passed away aged 37 following a sudden cardiac arrest, and believes that this is an excellent achievement by the Memorial Group for an excellent cause.
