Islamophobia Awareness Month
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that November is Islamophobia Awareness Month; further recognises that Islamophobia Awareness Month was co-founded by MEND and other organisations in 2012; welcomes the aims of the month in seeking to deconstruct and challenge the stereotypes about Islam and Muslims; condemns any behaviour that is Islamophobic, and celebrates the contribution that Muslims have made across Scotland and throughout the British Isles.
