Crafty Distillery, Scottish Gin Distillery of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Crafty Distillery in Newton Stewart on winning the 2020 Scottish Gin Distillery of the Year category at the @scotginawards; acknowledges the hard work and effort that the whole team has made since the distillery's doors opened in 2017; notes that its range includes Hills & Harbour Gin, Smokey & Citrus Distilled Cocktail, Galloway Vodka and 100% Galloway Gin; understands that its botanicals for flavouring are sourced and foraged from the hills and coast of Galloway where the distillery is based; acknowledges the prospect of new developments at the distillery to come, and commends this young company on its achievements.
