Peebles High School Calendar Fundraiser

That the Parliament commends Claire Barrett and Mark Sansom, who are former Peebles High School pupils, on producing a calendar to raise money for the school; understands that Claire and Mark, who left the school in the late 1980s and now both work for Aberdeen Standard Life, have worked together to print a calendar featuring Mark’s photography of Peebles and the surrounding area; notes that Claire, who also organises fundraising activities for the school, contacted Mark after seeing his photographs on the Auld Peebles Facebook page and pitched the idea of the calendar to raise money for the school, which had not been able to hold its usual fundraisers due to the COVID-19 pandemic; recognises that, with support from Lemon Digital and support with the printing from Aberdeen Standard Life, the calendar is now available to buy, and that Claire hopes that the proceeds may go towards end-of-year-activities for the pupils; commends Claire and Mark for putting the calendar together, and wishes them all the best for its sales.
