Katie Chambers' Charity Run
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Katie Chambers, who is from Innerleithen, on completing a 32-mile charity run for SAMH; understands that Katie, who owns Six Hair Design in the town, completed the run in 7 hours 30 minutes alongside her friend, Isobel Knox, who is an ultra-marathon runner; notes that Katie raised £14,000 and that her run was dedicated to her brother Jamie, who died in July 2020; commends Katie and Isobel for their hard work in completing this run, and thanks them for their charitable contribution.
