West Lothian Council Reduces Gas Emissions by 40% in Seven Years

That the Parliament commends West Lothian Council on its efforts to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions; understands that the council has reduced its emissions by 40% in the last seven years, which is double the 20% target approved in 2015; notes that there was a reduction in CO2 emissions from 61,061 tonnes in 2013-14 to 36,635 in 2019-20, and believes that this is an important step by West Lothian Council.
