West Lothian College Neurodivergent Students Complete Cyber Security Course
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the eight young people who completed West Lothian College’s cyber security course for neurodivergent students in December 2020 as part of a national project to provide learning pathways to support more neurodivergent people into cyber security roles; welcomes the college’s partnership with the Donaldson’s Trust and West Lothian Council to refer and support the students; understands that the course, which took place through a blend of online learning and campus-based delivery in the college’s new cyber security lab, focused on the fundamentals of cyber security with students developing a range of critical skills; commends the course's lecturer for providing students with access to expert industry and university speakers, and wishes the students well in their next steps.
