Special Constable John Forsyth

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates John Forsyth, a Special Constable based at Stranraer Police Station, on his dedication and commitment, having worked 1,000 volunteer hours to help local communities in Dumfries and Galloway since the first lockdown in March 2020; acknowledges the invaluable support that he has given to his police colleagues by working night and weekend shifts to keep everyone safe; recognises the important role played by Special Constables across Scotland in ensuring law and order, and wishes John and all the other officers at Police Scotland continued success in the drive to reduce crime within communities.
