LGBTQ+ History Month
The motion
That the Parliament recognises February as LGBTQ+ History Month; celebrates the principles of diversity and inclusion; welcomes the aims of LGBTQ+ History Month in raising awareness of matters affecting LGBTQ+ people, making educational and other institutions safe for all and promoting their welfare; recognises the challenges that are faced by LGBTQ+ people all over the world because of hatred and discrimination; condemns all forms of homophobia, and celebrates the contributions made to society by LGBTQ+ people, not just in Scotland, but globally.
