The motion
That the Parliament praises the courage of Ross Bark, who is a children’s entertainer from Stranraer and is known as "Road Runner", on taking part in a gruelling challenge, facing sleet and torrential rain, to run four miles, every four hours over 48 hours, to raise money for Thorney Croft Care Home in Stranraer to help pay for a memorial in memory of the 14 residents who lost their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic and fund a special day out for the staff and residents; acknowledges that Ross has received £3,000 in pledges; wishes the employees and residents at the care home well, and sends Ross its best wishes, including in his desire to further his career as an international athlete.
