USDAW’s New Regional Secretary for Scotland, Tracy Gilbert

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Tracy Gilbert on her appointment as USDAW’s Regional Secretary for Scotland, following the retirement of Stewart Forrest; understands that Tracy is the first woman to hold this post in Scotland and believes this to be an excellent appointment, in light of her more than 20-years' experience in the trade union movement and ambition to continue to build on USDAW’s current work and support for its members; sends its best wishes to Tracy in her new role, and wishes Stewart a long and happy retirement.
