Songbird Singing Recognised for Focusing on Children’s Rights

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Songbird Singing on being presented with the Inverclyde Rights of the Child award; notes that Suzie O’Donoghue, tutor and founder of Songbird Singing, accepted the award on behalf of her 70 students; recognises that the award honours organisations that build their knowledge and practice of children’s rights, and that Songbird Singing is the first private firm to receive the award in Inverclyde; applauds the group for its success in the recent Inverclyde Inspiration Awards; commends Suzie on becoming a registered Vocal Health First Aider, meaning she can advise those with vocal health problems and help with rehabilitation exercises, and wishes Suzie and Songbird Singing all the best for the future.
