The motion

That the Parliament marks the 100th anniversary of the Rotary Club of Dundee, which throughout its history has provided practical help to the people of Dundee and beyond, all in keeping with the Rotary motto of Service Above Self; understands that the club has raised £100,000 to disburse during its centenary year, in support of local projects and other good causes; believes that, since its founding, the club has stayed true to the wider Rotary Foundation ethos of achieving world understanding and peace through international humanitarian, educational and cultural exchange programmes; applauds the dedication and hard work of all those involved in upholding these values, and hopes that, through recognising and celebrating the positive impact that Rotary Clubs have on local communities, they can continue to be a force for good during the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and beyond.
