Blazing Saddles as Stranraer Firefighters Smash Charity Target

The motion

That the Parliament acknowledges the remarkable efforts of 10 retained firefighters from Stranraer Fire Station who took part in the Ride Now cycling challenge by completing more than 5,000 kilometres to raise over £4,500 for Breast Cancer Care, some £3,000 more than originally expected; praises the courage and determination of the team, known as the Stranraer Flyers, which consisted of Stuart Anderson, John Brown, Justin Brown, Gavin Church, Lewis Dunn, Tanya Ellis, Jason Gallacher, John Harvey, Tony Reid and Stuart Wales, for their sterling efforts in the saddle, and wishes them well in their future charity efforts.
