Discover Aberdeen at Aberdeen International Airport

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the opening of the new store Discover Aberdeen at Aberdeen International Airport in June; understands that the store is being opened in partnership with Lagardere Travel Retail and will offer produce from local brands such as Deans of Huntly, Stewarts of Scotland, Steven Brown Art and Glen Appin; recognises that more than 10 jobs will be created with the opening of the new store, and celebrates the positive impact this will have in supporting the local economy in light of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
