The Five Kingdoms Brewery
The motion
That the Parliament offers its congratulations to the Five Kingdoms Brewery, which is based at Isle of Whithorn, on winning two awards at the Scottish Retail Food & Drink competition for its Dark Storm stout and Captain Morrison’s IPA, acknowledges the commitment by owners Alastair Scoular and Brendon Dennett to producing real ales, which, it believes, are putting Galloway on the map, resulting in increased demand as the micro-brewery expands into new markets, and wishes Alastair and Brendon well as they introduce another special-edition brew, Heart of Darkness.
