Blood Bike Charity Owners Top Nurse

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dumfries and Galloway's Blood Bikes after naming one of its new motorcycles in honour of Jenny Manson, a community children’s nurse from Kirkcudbright, who was awarded Scottish Nurse of the Year in December for her dedication to caring for children in poor health; recognises the sterling work carried out by the blood bike charitable organisation, set up by local volunteers to deliver essential blood and urgent medical supplies, in and out of hours, between hospitals and healthcare sites in South West Scotland and beyond; recognises the charity's constant need for new volunteers, and wishes them all well and safe riding in the future.
