Bearsden Academy and Bishopbriggs Academy Educational Achievements

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bearsden Academy and Bishopbriggs Academy on their educational achievements during the last academic year; and notes that, with 76% and 74% of pupils respectively attaining the “Gold Standard” of five Highers or more, this is a testament to the local authority, the teachers, parents, and, most importantly, the pupils who it considers have had to deal with far more than they should need to at such a young age, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
