Dundee Football Club Promotion to Scottish Premiership
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dundee Football Club on its victory in the Scottish Premiership play-off final against Kilmarnock; recognises that Kilmarnock’s relegation follows 28 successive seasons in the top-flight of Scottish football and offers its commiserations to the club and its supporters; applauds the Dundee FC fans who backed the club during difficult times, with 500 supporters attending the first leg at Dens Park; congratulates James McPake on his team’s success and promotion, and wishes the club well for the forthcoming season in the Scottish Premiership.
