All Heart as Family Firm Celebrates 25th Anniversary By Donating Life Saving Equipment

The motion

That the Parliament offers its congratulations to the Boyd Safety Group, a family-run company based in Dumfries that is celebrating its 25th anniversary in business by kindly donating two defibrillators, worth more than £1200 each, to the Summerhill Community Centre and the Crichton Central’s new café and co-working space; acknowledges further the group's involvement in mounting a proactive campaign in Dumfries and Galloway to raise awareness of this life-saving equipment; welcomes its initiative in working with other local organisations and groups through organising crowd-funding pages to help them purchase more equipment, and wishes the company and its employees every success in the coming years.
