Forth Ports Unveils Ambitious Investment Plans for the Port of Leith
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that Forth Ports has unveiled ambitious proposals for the creation of Scotland's largest renewable energy hub at the Port of Leith; understands that this £40 million private investment will support Scotland's economic recovery and energy transition plans; acknowledges that it will support the regeneration of the Port and create numerous jobs in the area, reinforcing what it sees as the position of the Central Belt as a leading area of engineering and manufacturing skills and capabilities, and wishes all involved with this project success.
