Man On Inverclyde Receives £10,000 Lottery Grant

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the £10,000 grant for Man On Inverclyde from the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland; understands that this will allow the suicide prevention charity to appoint three Wellbeing Workers; notes that the group’s peer support model is providing valuable mental health support for people in Inverclyde; recognises that, while initially set up to provide support to men locally, the group has expanded its services to women; appreciates how important Man On Inverclyde’s Zoom sessions were for people experiencing mental health difficulties during lockdown, and wishes everyone involved all the best for the future as they continue their efforts to help improve people’s mental wellbeing in Inverclyde.
