North Lanarkshire Provost’s Citizenship Awards
The motion
That the Parliament pays tribute to the outstanding community efforts in Motherwell and Wishaw, and the North Lanarkshire area, recognised by the inaugural Provost's Citizenship Awards; notes that six individuals or organisations were awarded from 60 nominees; recognises that the six winners of the inaugural awards were, Iain 'Cubby' Cuthbertson from Wishaw; husband and wife, Thomas and Mary Rattray, also from Wishaw; Nichola Brown from New Stevenston; Community Action Newarthill, the Health and Wellness Hub in Motherwell and North Lanarkshire Carers Together; congratulates all of the winners on their success, and wishes them all the best in their future community endeavours.
