Scout Volunteers Rewarded for Long Service

The motion

That the Parliament commends Alan White, Lorna White and Raymond Allan for their long service in the leadership team of the 48th Ayrshire Scout Group (Dundonald); notes that Alan and Lorna both received a 20 Year Long Service Award, with Raymond receiving an Award of Merit for Outstanding Service; understands that all three volunteers have also been bestowed with an Award of Merit for outstanding service, and recognises the valuable work that Scouts Scotland does to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the outdoors among Scotland’s young people.
