Dementia Awareness Week
The motion
That the Parliament recognises Dementia Awareness Week, which runs from 31 May to 6 June, focusing on the theme of Hidden voices, Hidden impact, Hidden cost, and on encouraging everyone to reflect on the impact that COVID-19 has had on those with dementia, their families and carers; thanks Alzheimer Scotland and notes that carers can book a visit to Beirhope Alpacas in Hownam, the Scottish Borders, to enjoy some fresh air and stunning scenery; recognises the importance of supporting people who are living with dementia and their carers, so that they can live well, and pledges its support that during Dementia Awareness Week, everyone can make a difference.
