Carers Week 2021
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes Carers Week 2021, which commences on 7 June; values the immense contribution that unpaid carers make to the health and wellbeing of loved ones; applauds the work of third sector organisations across Scotland, including the team at the Dundee Carers Centre, who offer practical and emotional support, advice and information for unpaid carers of all ages and for disabled people; supports the Dundee Carers Charter, which pledges to value, support and involve carers, and recognises the contribution of young carers in Dundee and across Scotland, who were instrumental in the implementation of the Young Carer Package and the Young Carer Grant.
