Glenapp Castle Wins the CIS Excellence Award for “Best Independent Hotel of the Year”

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the management and staff team at Glenapp Castle, on being announced as joint winners of the CIS Excellence Awards for Best Independent Hotel of the Year, becoming the first Scottish hotel to win the award for two consecutive years; understands that CIS Excellence Awards are aimed at all businesses and individuals involved in catering, hospitality and tourism industries, and represents a unique opportunity to demonstrate businesses and individuals strengths and support for the pursuit of excellence and innovation; notes that this prestigious award was judged upon many factors, including ambience, guest satisfaction, facilities, ethical considerations and suitability, and recognises this achievement is testimony to the management and staff team at Glenapp Castle, who have a shared commitment, dedication and passion in providing a unique visitor experience for all guests.
