Addressing the Climate Emergency
The motion
That the Parliament agrees that addressing the twin climate and biodiversity crises remains a critical priority; recognises that the Scottish Government will continue to deliver action to support a green recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring a just transition to net zero and a climate-resilient Scotland; agrees that this must be a shared and national endeavour by all sectors of the economy and society as a whole, and commits to working together, as Scotland prepares to welcome the world to Glasgow for COP26 and beyond, to restore nature and become a net zero nation.
