Ayr Dessert Shop Scoops Scottish Shortlist
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Ayr takeaway dessert shop, The Scoop, which has recently been shortlisted in the Scotland section of the British Takeaway Awards; understands that The Scoop was nominated as one of the top five takeaways in Scotland; gathers that the finalists will be announced in London in September and that the semi-finalists could win one of several national awards including Best Takeaway in Britain, and wishes all of the staff at The Scoop a taste of success at next month’s awards.
