Praise for Stirling COVID-19 Response

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the swift response of NHS Forth Valley and Health Protection teams, in responding to local COVID-19 outbreaks; values the efforts of Stirling Council in partnership working across the private, public and third sectors, and in coordinating local services; notes the strong progress made so far in vaccinating Stirling residents, and the dedication demonstrated by frontline health and social care workers across Stirling throughout the pandemic; recognises the commendable efforts of Stirling’s business community, particularly the hospitality sector, in adapting their operations to keep staff and customers safe, and supports businesses and communities across Stirling as they seek to recover economically and socially from the pandemic.
