Royal High School Reaches Final of Donald Dewar Memorial Debate
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates the success of the Royal High School, in reaching the final of the Donald Dewar Memorial Debate; acknowledges that the competition is not able to take place in the Scottish Parliament due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but will instead take place virtually on 10 June 2021; wishes all four schools competing in the finals good luck, and recognises the aims of the competition, to promote an understanding of the importance of debate, advocacy and communication to the legal profession, democracy and society at large.
