Heart of Midlothian Partnership with MND Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Heart of Midlothian and MND Scotland on their new partnership, which has been made possible thanks to what it sees as generous funding from Dell Technologies; understands the MND Scotland logo will appear on the season 2021-22 Hearts' shirt; notes that the partnership will aim to help raise awareness of the work carried out by MND charities throughout the UK and support people in Scotland who are living with the condition; understands that funds raised will help enable pioneering work, such as the projects taking place at the Euan McDonald Centre for MND Research at the University of Edinburgh, and considers this partnership to be a fitting tribute to former Hearts' captain, Marius Žaliukas, who died from the condition in 2020.
