Cervical Screening Awareness Week
The motion
That the Parliament recognises Cervical Screening Awareness Week 2021, which runs from 14 to 21 June; acknowledges that such screening is the best protection against cervical cancer; understands that many can find the test extremely difficult due pain or previous trauma; celebrates the level of work that has gone into removing the stigma from cervical screening and encouraging conversation about the test, and thanks in particular, the efforts of various organisations, particularly Jo's Trust.
