Congratulations for Local Fire Service Charity Work

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Watch Commander, Eddy Fotheringham, for his charity work in fundraising for Blood Cancer UK; praises the campaigning of Ally Boyle MBE, who has used his own diagnosis and experience of myelodysplasia to help others, particularly in his work with Anthony Nolan and Blood Cancer UK; notes the dedication shown by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) towards its charity campaigns, and the support it provides to allow staff to take part in such valuable work; gives warm thanks to SFRS for its service in keeping communities safe, and encourages constituents in Stirling, and across Scotland, to engage with these charities and support their vital work.
