Aberdeen and North East of Scotland Music Festival

That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdeen and North East of Scotland Music Festival for a successful event from 7 to 11 June 2021; notes that the festival adapted to COVID-19, by taking place online, and offering 1,003 entries, the largest number for this year’s online Scottish festivals, the chance to showcase their talents; believes that opportunities like this are vital so that amateurs of all ages can perform, either competitively or non-competitively; welcomes the feedback provided to all entrants by professionals in their respective fields, as a way for participants to grow their skills; notes that adjudication took place live, which is unique for Scottish online festivals, and thanks all those who organised and took part for contributing to such a successful festival.
