Irvine Trombone Player Wins Top Brass
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Irvine trombone player, Lewis Bettles, on winning the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Governors' Prize for Brass competition; notes that, in addition, he was awarded the George Reynolds Development Bursary, which will help towards his musical studies; understands that Lewis is the conductor for the Irvine and Dreghorn Brass Band; congratulates him again on winning this prestigious award, and wishes him the very best with his musical career.
