Ardeer Golf Club Fundraiser
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ryan Brodie and nine other members of Ardeer Golf Club on participating in a dusk-to-dawn challenge to raise money for Jessica Ewing, who is a schoolgirl from Stevenston; understands that the money raised will help Jessica get physiotherapy aids that will aid her rehabilitation from cancer; notes that the challenge will involve all 10 participants playing the course at the club from sunrise at 4.30 am to sunset at approximately 10.00 pm; acknowledges that the group has surpassed its initial goal of £500 by raising £1,315 to date; admires the kindness shown by Ryan and team, and sends its best wishes to them, and Jessica, for the future.
