Irvine’s Woodland View Volunteers
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the volunteers at Woodland View Hospital, which is located at Irvine Central Hospital, for being awarded funding from the North Ayrshire Council Locality and Arts and Culture Participatory Budgeting grant; understands the money will be used to help promote positive mental health and a healthy and active community; notes that the volunteers aim to provide an emergency pack of toiletries for each patient admitted urgently to Woodland View; acknowledges that often patients are admitted with no time to pack belongings; commends the volunteers for their incredible contribution to the community, and wishes them all the best in achieving their goal.
