Clydebank's Mikey Doak Launches Podcast and YouTube Channel to Help Destigmatise Mental Health
The motion
That the Parliament commends Mikey Doak, who is from Clydebank, for launching the podcast and YouTube channel, Every Mind Matters, to discuss mental health, with the aim of breaking the stigma associated with it; understands that Mikey was inspired to create this space after hearing others open up about their struggles during Mental Health Awareness Week and after his own experiences with depression; recognises the positive impact of destigmatising mental health, as the discrimination that many face can make their difficulties and recovery harder, and applauds Mikey for taking this initiative to create change.
