Milngavie Pupils Reach Final of Show Racism the Red Card Creative Competition

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the P4 class at Castlehill Primary School in Milngavie on being selected as finalists in 2021’s Show Racism the Red Card Creative Competition; understands that over 1,500 young people from across Scotland have taken part in this year’s competition, focusing on the theme of #GenerationEquality, which encourages young people from all backgrounds to think about future career prospects free from barriers and stereotypes; acknowledges the positive impact that producing creative work with an anti-racism theme can have on the attitudes of young people, and wider society, towards discrimination, intolerance and racism; praises Show Racism the Red Card for its continuous work on anti-racism, and applauds the pupils at Castlehill Primary School for their achievement.
