Inspirational Headteacher Commended at National Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Eileen Kennedy, who is the headteacher of Turnbull High School in Bishopbriggs, on winning the Bronze Award in the Headteacher of the Year category at the Pearson Teaching Awards; understands the phenomenal significance of this accolade, having been selected from a nomination pool of thousands of the UK's most inspirational teachers; praises the support of pupils, parents, colleagues and chaplains in paying tribute to Mrs Kennedy's exemplary leadership; celebrates her outstanding support of young people to enable the best possible long-term outcomes, with their needs central to her powerful vision, and sends its thanks and best wishes to Mrs Kennedy for continued success and impact in her vocation.
