Jock Tamson’s Bairns
The motion
That the Parliament believes that Scotland has benefited historically, culturally, socially and economically from immigration; considers that continued immigration is needed to assist the economy to grow; believes that people who have made the decision to settle in the country are as Scottish as those who were born in Scotland, and does not recognise the description of "indigenous Scots" as being superior in any way to "new Scots".
