Mauchline Primary Pupils Recreate Famous Burns Poem in CARS Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the excellent efforts of the primary six pupils at Mauchline Primary School, who recreated the famous Burns poem Tae a Moose, and also created a music video that tells the story of how Burns established his inspiration for writing the poem; commends the pupils on their outstanding work with the CARS Project, which aimed to create a programme of creative learning to contribute to the Mauchline Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme’s strategic objective of commitment, engagement and participation with schools and the wider community to increase young people’s understanding and appreciation of their own heritage and encourage a sense of pride in where they live and learn, and wishes the pupils well on entering their last year at primary school.
