Glasgow Royal Infirmary Wins Golden Hip Award for Excellence in Patient Care

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, and all staff associated with caring for patients with hip fractures, on winning the Golden Hip Award for excellence in patient care; recognises that the staff who care for patients with hip fractures includes emergency department medical and nursing staff, radiologists, orthopaedic surgical teams, nurses, occupational therapists, porters, and older peoples’ services, and notes that this prestigious award recognises the excellent care provided by multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring the best possible outcome for these patients.
