Fourth Wimbledon Championship for Helensburgh
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Helensburgh’s Gordon Reid, and his doubles partner, Alfie Hewett, on winning their fourth wheelchair doubles championship title at Wimbledon; notes that the pair are the most successful all-British doubles partnership in Grand Slam history; recognises that not only does he live with transverse myelitis but competes at the highest level of his sport, Gordon serves as an inspiration to others, and wishes both players every success in their sporting careers.
