National Lottery Community Fund Boost
The motion
That the Parliament commends the £340,391 of funding being provided to local groups through the National Lottery Community Fund, helping them to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic; acknowledges the Kirkcaldy Cottage Family Centre receiving £77,000 of funding, enabling it to continue its connecting families project, providing therapeutic intervention to young people and their families facing difficult challenges; further acknowledges the Fife Centre for Equalities receiving £80,441 of funding, helping it continue its partnerships with Fife-based and national organisations, to tackle inequalities and promote social justice, and enable individuals to raise concerns when they do not feel respected, safe or have the freedom to lead a fulfilling life, and wishes these groups the very best for the future.
