Robbie Ferguson, GB Rugby Sevens Squad, Tokyo Olympics
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Robbie Fergusson, who is from Ayr, on his selection as one of five Scots selected for the Team GB Rugby Sevens squad at the Tokyo Olympics, with the event taking place at Tokyo Stadium between 26 and 28 July 2021; considers that this is a significant achievement in light of Robbie's recovery from cancer after being diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in 2014, and wishes Robbie and the team the best of luck at the Olympics.
