Opening of Scotland’s First National Treatment Centre at the NHS Golden Jubilee in Clydebank
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the opening of Scotland’s first National Treatment Centre at the NHS Golden Jubilee in Clydebank; understands that the NHS Golden Jubilee Eye Centre is part of the planned expansion of the hospital, with work on the second phase already underway and the new Surgical Centre expected to be completed by June 2023; notes that the Eye Centre, which has been operating since November 2020, has increased the number of ophthalmology procedures undertaken at the NHS Golden Jubilee by almost 47%, and applauds all staff in the hospital for their continuous hard work.
